Pamukkale University, Turkey
The foundation of Pamukkale University, an institution that "satisfies its stakeholders with its institutional power and is on its way to becoming a continuously developing world university", stems from two historical educational institutions in Denizli: the Girls' Teachers School, which began educating students in 1957 and was transformed into an Education Institute in 1976, and the Denizli Faculty of Engineering, which was initially established as the State Engineering and Architecture Academy in 1976 and subsequently joined Dokuz Eylül University in 1982.
